CHICAGO-March 3, 2017 - History has been made yet again! The largest number of foot and ankle surgeon attendees from around the world emerged on to Las Vegas to progress patient outcomes at the historic 75th Anniversary Annual Scientific Conference of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
With 1900 foot and ankle surgeons and a sold out Exhibit Hall, the 75th gathering of the profession's premier educational event made history as the largest-ever Annual Scientific Conference held by the College, beating out the record-breaking 2016 conference in Austin.
"What an honor to a part of yet another record-breaking moment for ACFAS," said Laurence G. Rubin, DPM, FACFAS, president of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). "Celebrating 75 years of such an instrumental organization for foot and ankle surgeons and their patients is a remarkable achievement. Then to add in a record-breaking attendance at our anniversary Annual Scientific Conference, just shows the dedication of our colleagues to advancing care and supporting the opportunities ACFAS provides," Dr. Rubin added. ACFAS' 76th Annual Scientific Conference will be held on March 22-25, 2018 in Nashville.
