Last Chance to Vote for ACFAS Board of Directors

Voting for the ACFAS Board of Directors closes tomorrow, Thursday, November 30.

ACFAS eligible voting members received an email from the College’s independent election firm (acfas.ballot@intelliscaninc.net) with a unique link to the Board of Directors Election website.

Members without an email address or whose email system rejected our test email were sent voting instructions by US mail earlier this month. If you do not see the email and did not receive a letter, please check your junk mail folder.

NEW Scholarship Opportunity for ACFAS 2024

ACFAS and PICA are launching a new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship to help five fortunate ACFAS Member recipients with a check for $1,500 to offset travel costs to the ACFAS 2024 Annual Scientific Conference in Tampa, and a complimentary conference registration. Scholarships will be available to resident and post graduate fellow members of ACFAS. All applicants must not have their conference attendance and/or travel completely covered by another source – no double-dipping.

Applications are due by December 11 and recipients will be notified by December 22.

ACFAS Region Funding for ACFAS 2024

Students, residents and post graduate fellows presenting an accepted poster or manuscript at the ACFAS Annual Scientific Conference may apply for funding assistance from your local ACFAS Region!

If you’ve submitted a poster or manuscript that is accepted for presentation at ACFAS 2024 and are interested in applying for funding from your local Region, please submit an application for support to your local Region officer by Tuesday, January 2. Poster submitters are potentially eligible for $250, and manuscript presenters are potentially eligible for $500. The number of grants available varies by Region.
