Research Requirements:    

  • One clinical research paper.
  • Monthly research committee meetings.
  • Monthly journal club.
  • Weekly case reviews and academics.
  • Fellows expected to participate in scholarly activity throughout the year and present at ACFAS conference.


Program Summary/Training Goals: 

  • This program is a high-volume practice which will provide both surgical and clinical exposure for the fellow in complicated foot and ankle conditions.
  • Our program is designed to allow the fellow to utilize their skills learned in residency as well as learn and develop new skills to transition to the next level in their career.
  • The fellowship is a unique opportunity for the graduating resident to enhance their surgical training. The fellow will be exposed to multiple surgeons focusing on a vast array of pathology, including but not limited to advanced lower extremity trauma, total ankle replacement, charcot reconstruction, advanced arthroscopy techniques and sports related injuries.
  • In addition the fellow will also be exposed to the day to day business aspects of running a private practice preparing them for the transition into multiple practice or employment opportunities.
