The mission of the ACFAS Regional Divisions is to promote at the state and local level the superior care of foot and ankle surgical patients through education, research, and the promotion of the highest professional standards.
The primary use of Division funds is through the provision of educational programming at a grassroots level; and support of educational endeavors through the creation of grants, scholarships, and support of students, residents and young members just starting practice.

Meeting Details:
A Division-sponsored Seminar, tentatively in Oct of 2010 located in Phoenix, AZ. The seminar will be surgical, with a medicine section that will involve diabetes mellitus, vascular disease and research topics. 20+ credit hours will be provided, and the cost to attend will be minimal. Residents from all four states within the Division will be invited for poster presentations and will be able to present lectures on the last day of the program. The Division will sponsor as many Residents as possible.
